Konjic - Attractions

Mostar region

A place with a lot of sun in the summer and enough snow in the winter, with rain that soaks the crops in the spring and in the fall is a prelude to the coming winter. Konjic is a city where all four seasons are expressed in full beauty.

The Old town of Konjic
Perfectly located close to all the major tourist attractions in the city. It’s located on the left bank of the Neretva River and is adorned with the old town districts, the Čaršija mosque, and Varda mosque, the Orthodox church of St. Basil the Great, a new promenade along the Neretva River, a stone castle on Varda and medieval tombstones in the Park on Varda, just below the Varda mosque.

The Old Stone Bridge
Walk across the Bridge, stop for a moment, and feel the freshness that the winds bring down from the Prenj Mountain into the valley, through which the Neretva flows. You’ll wish to walk along its riversides, hugged by walkways, for hours.
